What you should document and check now on sanitary fixtures
Every fixture as overview and detail
Capture basin, WC, taps and shower enclosure. Take a photo of each fixture in the room and a close-up.
Check visible surfaces for scratches
Check ceramics and chrome in good light, ideally with a flashlight in grazing light. Scratches become particularly visible this way after removing the film.
Briefly test function and tightness
Run water and flush the WC. Touch the trap under the basin and check the connections — does everything stay dry?
Check silicone joints and connections
Check the joints on basin, WC and shower enclosure. Are they drawn completely and cleanly all around? Rosettes on taps must fit flush.
Secure ceramics and chrome now
Secure the condition of all fixture surfaces and connections before acceptance with clear detail and overview photos.
