Pre-acceptance later: use the time until then well

The earlier you have a structure, the calmer your own walk-through will be. Use the time now for lists, documents and dates — not just the week before acceptance.

Typical mistakes in preparation

Mixing pre-acceptance and acceptance

Your walk-through is only preparation. Only with acceptance does the risk transfer to you and the periods for defect claims start. Separate the two in your schedule.

No fixed date for your own walk-through

Without a date, pre-acceptance often slips to the day before the official appointment. Exactly when calm is missing.

Looking for documents only on walk-through day

Drawings, remaining-work lists and earlier photos should be ready beforehand. Do not just gather them on the way.

Only appearance in mind

Deliberately plan function checks and plant rooms too. Do not just pay attention to visible surfaces.

What to prepare now for later pre-acceptance

  1. Fix your own walk-through 1-2 weeks before acceptance

Set your own walk-through at least 1-2 weeks before the official appointment. This leaves time to document issues without pressure.

  2. Create a room and trade list

Create a simple table: one room per row, plus technical areas (heating, plumbing, electrical). Space on the right for notes.

  3. Collect existing photos and drawings

Find an overview photo from the construction phase for each room. Pay special attention to pipes and connections that are covered today.

  4. Note first observations already

Anything you already notice belongs on a provisional list. Later you will expand this systematically.

Structure early

Upload existing photos. We help you place the next steps before official acceptance.
