What data we process

When you visit the website

When you access our website, technically necessary data is recorded in server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system information. This data is used for technical operation, error analysis, and security. The website is served via Firebase Hosting (Google).

Web analytics with Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager, to understand how our website is used. Cookies (in particular _ga and _ga_*) and similar technologies may be used. Data collected includes page views, clicks, time on site, approximate city-level location, device type, and conversion events (for example a purchase).

Purpose: reach measurement and website improvement. In Switzerland, Germany, and Austria this runs only if you accept the Statistics category.

Marketing (Meta Pixel and Google Ads)

For advertising and conversion measurement we use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) and Google Ads, also via Google Tag Manager. Cookies and identifiers such as _fbp, _fbc, and Google click IDs may be set, and events may be sent to Meta and Google (including server-side via the Meta Conversions API).

Purpose: delivering and measuring ad campaigns. In Switzerland, Germany, and Austria only after you accept the Marketing category. Statistics and Marketing can be chosen independently.

Consent and withdrawal

On a first visit in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria we ask for your consent. The “Cookies” link in the page footer lets you change or withdraw that choice at any time — as easy as the original grant. Strictly necessary cookies (for example language and session) do not require consent.

Use and image processing

When you use SuperDave, your photos are processed in the background. We may also use the photos you upload to train our AI models, continually improve our service, and for our own marketing purposes (e.g. as anonymized showcase examples). To send you results, we may ask for your email address.

Disclosure and transfer abroad

We share data with the following service providers:

• Google LLC (USA) – Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Firebase Hosting, and AI Models
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) – Meta Pixel and Conversions API
• OpenRouter (USA) – AI Model Routing
• Stripe Inc. (USA/Ireland) – Payment processing (contract fulfillment)

Zero Data Retention (ZDR) is enabled for OpenRouter: request data transmitted via OpenRouter is not persistently stored by OpenRouter.

Transfers to the USA are based on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (in effect since 15 September 2024) and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.

Retention

• Server logs: up to 90 days
• Analytics data: 14 months (GA4 default)
• Your email address and uploaded photos: until you request deletion

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and — where applicable — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we process about you
• Rectification of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your data
• Object to processing or request restriction of processing
• Data portability (where the GDPR applies)
